Attorney Howard I. Getz founded the firm after graduating from law school in the late 1960s. Over the years, he developed a reputation as a lawyer who cares about his clients and fights hard to achieve justice on their behalf. Mr. Getz is a Bronx native who understands the struggles his clients face. He is dedicated to using his legal knowledge and skill to help right the wrongs they have endured.

In 1998, Mr. Getz was joined in the practice by his son-in-law, Michael I. Braverman, a former assistant district attorney in the Manhattan District Attorney's office who also has experience working in a large law practice. With associate attorney James Benintendi and a caring and competent staff, we focus on providing quality legal representation and personal service to our clients.
We are not a high-volume law practice that relies on quick, cheap settlements. We do the work required to develop a case so that our clients obtain full value for their damages.
How We Are Paid
Our Bronx lawyers represent personal injury clients on a contingency fee basis. There is no charge for the initial consultation. You will pay no upfront fees or out-of-pocket expenses. We pay all the costs associated with developing the case. Our fees are a percentage of whatever compensation we win for you. In the unlikely event that we are unsuccessful, you will pay us nothing at all.
